Celeste grew up all over the world but the majority of her life and upbringing has been on the West Coast of British Columbia.Originally a ski racer for 10 years, Celeste decided to put away the spandex and narrow skis for powder and backcountry skiing.

She went to university in Alberta where in the Canadian Rockies she discovered a genuine love for big days in the backcountry and the thrill that comes from couloir hunting. Celeste is currently doing a master’s degree in renewable energy in Vancouver and splitting her time between the city and the sea to sky highway to continue taking advantage of being widely in the mountains whether by ski or mountain bike.

“The Atris Birdie has been a pillar for me since the beginning. It's the Swiss Army knife of big mountain skis. It's a ski I come back to throughout the whole season. I always have fun on it, no matter what. It performs really well in powder. It performs exceptionally well in the backcountry, on big mountain lines, regardless of the snow conditions. I feel the most confident out of any other ski because I know it's going to adapt to my desires. And as a big mountain skier, I find I can do anything I need with it. It's my favorite ski.”
