Mark Abma

“Nothing' worth pow' skiing with your mates bro”

Mark is a sentinel of the formidable North American team. The one that experienced the free skiing revolution from the first double spatulas to the video cameras of Red. Always rocking at the rhythm of the New Wave, his Canadian accent has turned into a hymn of wild skiing in fresh snow.

Originally from British Columbia in Canada, who began with mogul skiing before taking part in park and halfpipe races, Mark has been shooting for the most important productions since 2003. Before he became one of the Matchstick Productions captains, he acted with Warren Miller and Poor Boyz, earning twice the title of Best Male Performance at the Powder Video Awards (2005 and 2007) during his brilliant career. Converted to a “biological” life, Mark seems to prosper every new season in the plenitude of his nature.
