biography

Beau is a messenger. He is a bearer of news from immemorial time when man and nature were one and the same thing.

Beau grew up in Billings, Montana, at approximately 100 km east of the Beartooth Mountains and the Rocky Mountains. Red Lodge, Bridger Bowl and Big Sky are the places where he learnt to ski. It is in his teens that his passion for skiing on fresh snow was born, and he devoted a large chunk of his spare time to this activity, especially during his university studies, first at the Montana State University and later at the University of Utah. In the Wasatch Range, Utah, he began to explore the mountain intensely, learning safety techniques from expert skiers. He purchased his last seasonal subscription in the 2004-2005 winter. Thenceforth, he decided to move following the rhythm of his body, using as little as possible the means of ascent in the mountains. He skied throughout the world to discover new horizons and eventually settled in Cooke City, Montana, where he has been in charge of the Yellowstone Ski Tours agency since 2015. There, in the heart of the National Park of Yellowstone, he takes hikers to discover an uncontaminated nature. An invaluable gift: skiing out of time.
